Modern cabin life
on the shore of river Kemijoki
In 2006 we build two brand new cabins, named Tuohikki and Kiihokki, right next to river Kemijoki, as well as a sauna called Lystikki. These are situated just three km (1.9 miles) from the main house.
The cabins are situated in the middle of breathtakingly beautiful scenery, and can each accommodate 10 people. The cabins are equipped with all the mod cons; TV, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, electric cooker, microwave oven, coffee maker, electric kettle, fireplace and a gas barbeque. There are also fully furnished bathrooms.
The sauna by the river has an electric sauna oven, a sitting room with a fireplace, and a bay window where you can sit and admire the sunset.
There are stairs from the sauna down to the deck on the river.
There’s a lot to do round the year. In summer you can fish or just row the boat on the beautiful river Kemijoki, and in winter you can ski or go ice fishing.
The row boats and life jackets, as well as ice fishing equipment is included in the rent for the cabins.
